Frequently Asked Question
How can I record only one frame per trigger event?
Last Updated 5 years ago
Please use ThermalCapture Configurator to enable this behavior.
In the "Trigger/FFC" tab, there is an item "Trigger frame mode", where you can select between "Ongoing stream (default)" and "Single frame capture".
In some cases it can happen that even, if this option is set, more than one frame gets recorded into a .TMC, or .TFC file. To prevent that, you can also set the number of frames to skip in the "Recordings" tab:
That options is normally used, if continuous recording is active and not all frames should be recorded. A frame skip of 1 leads to every second frame from the FLIR Tau 2 Core being recorded.
This counter is reset with every new trigger event.
